About 6 years ago Dr Satchin Panda’s lab started monitoring the activity and sleep patterns of close to 200 college students, and he found the same pattern of Social Jet Lag that Dr Roenneberg reported (87% of adults have social jet lag from getting to bed late and waking up early).
So far, Dr Panda’s lab found only one student who actually went to bed every day at the same time within half an hour, including on weekends. There has been only one student who went to bed before midnight for at least two days in week.
