There are 5 fundermental mistakes in the following email, can you spot them?

Hi
apologies for slow reply but have just got back into the office. Sorry but I hadn’t responded as I thought after our last discussion that were going to have meeting so that I can provide you reliable quote.
kind regards

1. Subject Line.
Just writing ‘hi’ may not be enough to grab your reader’s attention. Something more specific such as “Follow
up to our last meeting” or “Update on your Enquiry [dated]…” would be more professional and alerts the
reader to the topic immediately, especially if they don’t know who is sending the email at first glance.
2. Greeting.
Writing “hi” as a greeting is unprofessional, especially as there is no name listed. It is too casual for a business
email.
3. Incorrect Case.
The entire email is written in lower case which appears unprofessional as if the writer can’t be bothered to
format it correctly.
4. Writing Style.
Read the email carefully and see if it makes sense. Words have been omitted and it contains poor grammar.
Not a great way to make a good impression.
5. Sign-Off.
There are no sign off or contact details. If I did want to get back in touch with this person, how would I do
it? That is, if it wasn’t already in the spam folder….
